Edana Romney papers

The Edana Romney papers consists almost exclusively of Ms. Romney's research materials for her unproduced screenplay on the life of Sir Richard Burton. Included are journals, notebooks, photocopies of the script at various stages of completion, audiotapes, and correspondence, as well as realia and ephemera, and some personal materials. Edana Romney was born Edna Rubinstein in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Abstract Jack Rugh was a labor relations representative in California's Department of Employment from 1940 until his retirement in 1971. In addition to his work in labor relations, Rugh was a regional coordinator for services to the handicapped. In 1967 Rugh was appointed by Governor Reagan to the Governor's Committee for Employment of the Handicapped. He continued to speak and publish on labor relations, the employment of the handicapped, and the employment of ex-offenders after his retirement....

The Ruben Salazar papers include personal and professional materials that document the late journalist's life from his birth in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, in 1928, to his 1970 death in Los Angeles during the National Chicano Moratorium march in East Los Angeles. The collection contains photographs and correspondence, clippings and draft manuscripts of stories, and cards and letters from his supporters, awards and realia.
